Individuals & Society Teacher

We are looking for an Individuals and Societies teacher for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Business and Management for the Diploma Progranne. The appointment would be for 3 days a week at 0.6 fte.
IT & Physics Teacher
- Subject: MYP/DP Physics and Career-related Studies in IT
- 0.6 fte

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable teacher to deliver both MYP/DP Physics as well as the Career-related Studies (CRS) within the IB Career-related Programme (CP) IT pathway at International School Almere. The CRS teaching role involves teaching BTEC IT units to CP1 and CP2 students for a few hours per week, with a strong focus on applied learning, digital skills, and preparing students for future careers in technology and business.
French and English Teacher

Student Counsellor
- Role: Student Counsellor

In the role of student counsellor, you are part of the Care Team of our school. You will support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our diverse student body by identifying the students’ needs through intake, follow up, and evaluation meetings. The counsellor will work closely with students, parents, and staff to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere. In their individual support, you will formulate support plans and contribute to individual educational plans. Coaching studens in their social and/or emotional development, particularly in relation to school performance, will be a key aspech of your role. Depending on the difficulties at hand, you will also develop and provide tailored training for individual students of group of students. Acting as a coach and advisor, you will assist teachers in implementing inclusive education practices and provide broad-ranging advice on student functioning. By offering workshops, and individual guidance on teaching approaches, and organizing training sessions, you will contribtue to the professional development of teachers. You will also contribute to annual plans and reports related to the guidance process and ensure effective monitoring and planning.
